The Cold Steel 6" Ti-Lite folder is modeled after stiletto-styled knives of the 1950s but made with modern materials in a manual opening platform. These manual opening folders are legal to carry nearly everywhere while still being quite fast to deploy. This Kris blade version comes with Flat Dark Earth or FDE glass filled nylon handles and a satin finished, AUS-10A stainless steel Kris blade.

Blade: The 6" blade of the Ti-Lite is slim with a single sharpened edge ending in a fine piercing point. The stainless AUS-10A Kris blade has a rippled design that is eye-catching and effective as a defensive tool. The asymmetrical dual guard delivers security in hand while the modern thumb stud offers fast, right-hand deployment. The forward quillon can also be used to deploy the blade when drawing the knife.

Handle: Flat Dark Earth polymer handle scales are supported by full stainless steel liners and a composite back spacer that runs the full length of the handle. The handles are contoured for comfort and milled with holes for weight reduction and added traction with nearly 7 inches of grip area for the largest hands. A stainless-steel leaf spring lock is a proven design and has held upwards of 145 lbs in testing. Jimping on the lock provides a secure purchase for operation.

Carries via a right hand, tip-up, stainless steel pocket clip.

Japanese AUS-10 Stainless Steel: Similar to AISI 440C, AUS10 offers excellent corrosion resistance, good edge retention and easy sharpening. For AUS-10A the "A" at the end indicates the steel is annealed after the rolling which does not affect the blade performance.
