The Kershaw Static design is a stylish and functional cleaver profile flipper and an ideal choice for a compact everyday carry folder. The blade rides on a KVT bearing pivot for fast deployment and smooth operation while the rugged construction and versatile design delivers a practical and stylish cutting tool. This liner lock variant comes with a Stonewash D2 tool steel blade and Brown canvas Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The cleaver style blade has a high-saber grind for balanced slicing performance and durability and enough point for utility in daily use. The compact blade has a functional finger choil and spine jimping for optimal control and snappy flipper deployment thanks to the KVT ball bearing pivot. The low-profile Stonewash finished D2 tool steel provides enhanced edge retention and hides wear from use.
Handle: Solid steel liners support the high traction canvas Micarta scales in a lightweight yet solid handle construction. An open back construction offers easy cleaning and maintenance while the steel liner lock smooth in operation with solid lockup for safe use.
Carries via a reversible stainless steel deep carry clip.
D2 Tool Steel: Used as a die cutting steel since WW II, D2 offers a good combination of hardness and wear resistance with moderate toughness and stain resistance. High chromium content for a tool steel (10-13%) gives D2 better corrosion resistance than most high carbon steels.
