Fallkniven R2 Scout is most advanced fixed blade for active outdoor use with an full tang Elmax blade and thermorun handle. The R2 Scout is 18cm overall with two way locking system kydex sheath. The Elmax steel that has been carefully hardned, cooled to minus 190 c and then tempered for two hours to a hardness of 61/62 HRC. Giving this fixed blade a tough and at the same time hard steel that stays sharp for a long time without being brittle.
