On every continent, there exist people that have a rich cultural heritage of living with the land. The Blue River Machete is inspired on the Blue River, a tributary of the Colorado River, inhabited by the Native American "Arapaho" tribe.

The Blue River Machete is made from 1075 high carbon steel and is heat treated and annealed to about 56-58 Rockwell hardness. The wharncliffe style convex edged blade has been hand finished and honed for a high performance cutting edge with a natural finish.

The blade features patterning along the spine and down the back of the knife together with a natural rustic blade finish that denotes the warfare, survival and hunting spirit of these ancestral tribes.

The Blue River Knife is a full-tang construction with handle scales made from Walnut wood and reconstituted turquoise stone secured by three handle pins featuring a patterned head. There is an exposed tang lanyard slot with a leather lanyard and wood bead with burnt Condor logo.

The Blue River Knife Includes a high quality handcrafted welted leather belt sheath featuring a scribed buffalo hunting scene and a stitched tribal pattern overlay.
