A collaboration between Real Steel and Messerunicum, Amare Knives pairs quality construction with innovative design. The DURO Expedition One is the first fixed-blade from Amare. A relatively straightforward design, this hardy knife packs a 4.6-inch blade made from Bohler K110 steel. For a solid grip, the handle is made of golden ebony wood—that’s easy on the eyes, to boot. Jimping on the spine lends extra control during strenuous cuts and slices, while the contoured design of the handle feels right at home for smaller tasks, too. To go with the knife, there’s an included leather sheath for safekeeping.
