TOPS Knives Operator 7 Blackout Edition is a massive, tactically inspired combat knife that blends the modern construction and materials with a classic recurve Bowie design. The Operator 7 is a fierce cutting tool with amazing power and balance in the hand. Full tang, 1075 tool steel construction and layered Micarta and G10 handles made the Operator 7 nearly indestructible. If you love Bowie knives or need a serious, hard use fighting tool then the Operator 7 is for you. The Blackout Edition comes with a black traction coated blade and Black G10 over Black Micarta handle scales.

Blade: The Operator 7 sports a stout blade you'd normally only see on a cleaver or dedicated chopper. The 0.30" thick 1075 HCS blade puts a devastating amount of power behind the nearly full flat ground, recurve blade. Massive, dual fullers help to balance the blade while the massive index finger choil allows for a surprising amount of control for use in fine cutting tasks. The huge, integral dual guard hints a Bowie influence and fighting knife heritage of the Operator 7. The Black Traction Coating delivers a durable, non-reflective coating that enhances corrosion resistance.

Handle: A massive blade needs a massive handle and the Operator 7 is supplied with an inch thick contoured handle of Black G10 with red liners layered on top of a slab of Black Canvas Micarta affixed to the full tang of the blade with hefty Allen bolts. Two flared, hollow aluminum pins are provided at the pommel end for lanyard attachment for added security.

Sheath: Custom molded Kydex with rotating metal spring clip.
