CTK181036 Condor Sentinel Axe 1075 Carbon Steel Head Paracord Handle Kydex Sheath

The axe head on the Condor Tool & Knife Sentinel Axe is made from 1075 high carbon steel and is heat treated and annealed to about 50-55 Rockwell hardness. The blade features black traction powder coating which is a heavy black paint finish done by powder coating. The paracord wrapped handle is made with real 550 lb test parachute cord that has seven inner strands for further use in a situation where one piece of rope might not be enough. One of the strands inside can also be teased apart further, providing fishing line, sewing thread or help in any situation where a fine, sturdy line is needed. The included sheath is made from high-quality Kydex with a leather belt loop, designed by 710 Custom Sheaths.

Joe writes for a myriad of magazines and publications, and contributes regularly to the outdoor community, concentrating in woodcraft and primitive living. His knowledge of outdoor gear led to consulting on equipment design and function for many companies. Joe holds a degree in Zoology with a minor in Entomology and researches heavily into all things outdoors. Joe Flowers teaches fitness, martial arts, organizes youth camps, and hosts outdoor skills and survival classes around the US. Joe is an avid naturalist, hunter, fisherman, herpetologist, videographer, beekeeper, knife thrower, guide, and regularly travels internationally in search of knife knowledge and unique animals. You can find Condor on Joe's side when he is deep in the Amazonian rain forest, or high in the deserts of Utah.
